How do I enable HyperKey?
Launch the app and simply check "Enable HyperKey" from the menu bar icon. From then on, pressing the Caps Lock key will act as the Hyper Key.
Can I use it alongside other keyboard customization apps?
Yes, it is generally compatible. However, if you have mapped the "Caps Lock" key to another key in your other apps, conflicts might occur. In such cases, please disable the Caps Lock mapping in those other apps.
How can I make the app launch automatically when I restart my Mac?
Click the menu bar icon and check "Launch at Login". This will ensure that HyperCaps starts automatically in the background when you turn on your Mac.
What if I want to use the normal Caps Lock function?
You can turn on the "Short press Caps Lock to toggle Caps Lock" option in the settings. This allows you to use it as a Hyper Key when long-pressed, and as a regular Caps Lock when short-pressed (tapped).
How do I uninstall the app?
You can completely uninstall the app by dragging "HyperCaps.app" from your Applications folder to the Trash. The app is designed cleanly and leaves no deep system settings behind.
